Menai Bridge was one of the first locations for the Pavilions Project under the ECB’s Channel 4 funding of grass roots cricket. Club Design had already built pavilions for the ECB at Nottingham and Wolverhampton.
We pride ourselves on the warmth of the welcome it offers to everyone who visits the club. We take particular care to provide high quality catering and we aim to ensure that visiting teams and umpires enjoy their day with us.
This club boasts one of the best views in cricket – with a view across the Menai Straits to the Snowdonia National Park. The little pavilion is very pleasing to the eye and is a credit to the club and to its funders.
With our qualified coaches the mission is to provide the highest standard of coaching and cricket possible
MBCC run weekly youth cricket sessions during the summer offering high-quality coaching to all children that attend. The club also runs weekly net sessions for its adult members, every Tuesday and Thursday at 6pm.
Renowned for the support of its social members and the number of spectators at a typical match, the club feels like a place where people on and off the pitch love the game and where “The Spirit of Cricket” is very much alive. Much of our club’s success can be attributed to our excellent, well-prepared pitches with a very good outfield which is appreciated both by our own players and clubs that come to play here.
Our facilities are also available to hire at extremely competitive rates, so pop in and see what we can do for you. In the meantime please feel free to browse through our website. With outstanding playing and social facilities, we welcome spectators, new, present and past players, members and sponsors to Menai Bridge Cricket Club.
Menai Bridge Cricket Club are very happy to have the following sponsors and their continued support is very important to the ongoing success of our Club. Please take some time to find out more about what they do and what they may be able to offer you or your organisations.
The Major problem for the club over the winter period was the car-park, small and narrow was causing major issues on game days - and occassional training sesion.
However, after the great work of the club the car park extension has now all been dug out and cleared. After this we were then ready for fencing round the perimeter and hard core to make a suitable parking base. Once again, after a fantastic work day down the cricket club, this has led to the completion of the car park extension, including the new fencing and hardcore.
A special thank you to Hogan Concrete Ltd for their kind donations and also a massive thank you to all who were involved in the car park extension and new boundary fencing.
